Event Details
The Canterbury FIDE Standard is a chess tournament at the University of Kent, featuring two sections:
- FIDE Open Standard
- FIDE U1800 Standard
Registration and Fees
Registration is limited to 30 entries per section. Entry Fee is £50 for ECF Gold/Platinum members, with an additional £15 for others. Pay to Play and Game Fees 2024/25 - ECF
Prize money distribution depends on the number of entries, with up to 40% for Open and 30% for U1800. Details will be announced on 18th November 2024.
There will also be 10 additional Elk and Ruby (open in new tab) book prizes.

Bye: One ½ point bye allowed (except in the last round).
